DDOT Kicks Off Public Space Week

Agency Celebrates the Potentials of Public Space Use During Several Events from May 25-31, 2014

(Washington, DC) - The District Department of Transportation (DDOT) will host its first annual Public Space Week from Sunday, May 25 to Saturday, May 31, 2014.

Public Space Week was commissioned by Mayor Vincent C. Gray to encourage and celebrate innovative ways to use public space in a rapidly growing, vibrant District of Columbia.

Below are just some of the events that are scheduled during the week-long celebration:
