Pools will temporarily close in phases, beginning on Sunday, October 9, 2016.
DPR's 8th Annual Doggie Day Swim
Following the end of the summer pool season, this annual event will provide dogs with the opportunity to swim and play games in three of DC's pools.
Sites hosting this year's Doggie Day Swim are as follows:

Upshur Pool - 4300 Arkansas Avenue, NW
Space is limited to 75 dogs in the pool area at one time.

Francis Pool - 25th & N Street, NW
Space is limited to 150 dogs in the pool area at one time.

(Washington, DC) - All DC Department of Parks and Recreation (DPR) administrative offices, recreation/community centers and indoor aquatic facilities will be closed on Monday, September 5, 2016 in observance of the Labor Day holiday.
- All synthetic fields, playgrounds, tennis courts and basketball courts will be open.
