(Washington, DC)–As part of the 11^th Street Bridge project, the District Department of Transportation (DDOT) will close M Street, SE, between 8^th Street and 11^th Street, SE, from 6 am to 9 pm on Saturday, December 13, 2014.  The closure will allow crews to complete final surface paving and striping on the section of M Street between 10^th and 11^th Street, SE.  

During the closures, signed detours will be posted.

DETOURS:

• Motorists traveling eastbound on M Street, SE, will be detoured to 8th Street, SE, onto eastbound G Street, SE, then to southbound 11th Street, SE, to access M Street, SE.
• Westbound M Street traffic will be detoured via 11^th Street, SE, onto westbound “Eye” Street, SE, then to southbound 8th Street, SE to access M Street, SE. 

In the event of inclement weather or other unforeseen conditions, this work will be rescheduled and an updated advisory will be sent.
