(Washington, DC)–As part of the 11th Street Bridge project, the District Department of Transportation (DDOT) reopened the Southeast Boulevard between 11th Street  and Pennsylvania Avenue, SE, to traffic earlier today. The opening marks the completion of yet another major milestone of the 11th Street Bridge Project.  

This opening provides an alternate direct connection between I-695 (Southeast/Southwest Freeway) and Pennsylvania Avenue, SE (Barney Circle) via the newly constructed at-grade intersection at 11th Street, SE.
