Lane Closures for Bridge and Tunnel Safety Inspections on November 4

(Washington, DC) The District Department of Transportation (DDOT) will conduct a series of bridge and tunnel safety inspections throughout the District’s highway network on Tuesday, November 4, 2014. These activities will require single-lane closures, which will take place during off-peak hours from 10 am to 3 pm, weather permitting.
The required lane closures and inspection activities are scheduled to occur as follows:
Massachusetts Avenue, NW, over Rock Creek and Rock Creek Parkway
Tuesday, November 4, 2014
There will be a right-lane closure of southbound Rock Creek Parkway under Massachusetts Avenue, NW, followed by right-lane closure of northbound Rock Creek Parkway under Massachusetts Avenue, NW.
Traffic controls will be in place to warn motorists approaching the areas.
Motorists are advised to stay alert while traveling through these locations and to be observant of the inspection personnel.
