(WASHINGTON, DC) – Today, the DC Department of Parks and Recreation (DPR) announced that all DPR recreation centers, aquatic facilities and administrative offices will be closed on Monday, January 19, 2015 in observance of Martin Luther King, Jr. Day. 

Grass fields have closed for the season and they will remain closed.  No permits have been issued for January 19.

All other fields, courts, playgrounds and parks will remain open for free use/play on Monday, January 19 in observance of the holiday.
