Request for records related to an OIG investigation. OIG’s response was affirmed on the basis that disclosure would interfere with enforcement proceedings.
Request for records related to “Julian Assange, Wikileaks, and/or the offered reward.” MPD’s initial denial claimed responsive records were exempt; on appeal MPD claimed that no responsive records existed. The matter was remanded to MPD to conduct an additional search.
Request for photographs taken during the investigation of a domestic violence incident. MPD’s response was affirmed on the basis that disclosure would interfere with enforcement proceedings.
Request for records related to reporting of child sex abuse. The appeal was dismissed as moot, because the appeal was based on a lack of response from CFSA and CFSA subsequently provided requester with a response.
Request for records related to a bid package. The appeal was dismissed as moot, because the appeal was based on a lack of response from DPR and DPR subsequently provided requester with a response.
Request for policy related to authority to settle disputes. DCRA’s response was affirmed on the basis that DCRA conducted an adequate search and no responsive records were found.
Request for body-worn camera footage. Due to its retention policy, MPD no longer possessed responsive records at the time of the request. MPD’s decision was affirmed.
Request for court documents related to a 1982 incarceration. MPD’s decision was affirmed, as MPD conducted an adequate search that yielded no responsive records.
Request for detective interview from 1997. MPD’s decision was affirmed because release of the investigatory records would invade the privacy interest of the interviewee.
Request for zoning records pertaining to a specific address. The appeal was dismissed as moot because DCRA provided the requested documents after the appeal was filed.
