Washington, DC welcomes you for the 50th Anniversary of the March on Washington. Commemorate Martin Luther King, Jr., civil rights and freedom between August 22 - 28, 2013. March on Washington and Associated Events

The March on Washington organizers have three marquee events and a host of other activities over the week of August 22 – 28, 2013.   The three marque events are the Global Freedom Festival, March on Washington on August 24 and Let Freedom Ring Ceremony on August 28.  The following is a summary of these activities.
