(Washington, DC) The District Department of Transportation (DDOT) will close both lanes on northbound 16th Street, NW, between Arizona Avenue and Allison Street, from 7 am to 7 pm on Saturday, November 22, 2014; weather permitting.
During this closure, both lanes on southbound 16th Street, NW, will be open to traffic. One lane will be dedicated to each direction through the work zone.
This closure is needed to allow DDOT crews to finish paving operations along 16th Street, NW.
Temporary signs will be in place to alert and guide the traveling public in this area. DDOT encourages all motorists to stay alert as they travel in this corridor. All construction-related work and dates are subject to change, depending on weather, material and contractor availability or other unforeseen conditions.
