TTY/TDD Phone Services

The District of Columbia government offers Text Telephone (TTY) and/or Telecommunications Device for the Deaf (TDD) services for the hearing impaired. For the Relay Service, call 711.

If you need to contact the police, fire department, or EMS for response to an emergency situation, please call 911 immediately. The emergency number, 911, is TTY compatible and operators will be available to assist you 24 hours a day.
