(Washington, DC) -- On November 3 until November 30, 2014, from 8 pm to 5 am, the District Department of Transportation (DDOT) will perform preventive maintenance activities, which will require the closing of two in-bound lanes of the 14th Street Bridge (I-395) over the Potomac River, weather permitting. The traveling public can expect some disruption of traffic flow after the rush hour.

This work needs to be done to preserve the bridge, and to make the roadway safe for the traveling public.

There will be two travel lanes open at all times. DDOT encourages all motorists to stay alert as they travel through this corridor.
