(Washington, DC) The District Department of Transportation (DDOT) has arranged for off-peak (overnight), temporary lane closures on the Theodore Roosevelt Bridge (I-66).

Night Time Inspection

A portion of the outside lane in the westbound direction of the Theodore Roosevelt Bridge and the exit ramp to George Washington Parkway northbound will be closed for bridge inspection during night time hours of 8 pm on November 25 to 4 am on November 26.

The exit ramp from the Theodore Roosevelt Bridge westbound to the George Washington Memorial Parkway northbound will be closed from midnight on November 26 to 4 am on the morning of November 26. Detour signs following the US Route 50 westbound ramp and continuing to Lynn Street will be in place to alert motorists.

These closures are necessary to perform a full, hands-on inspection of the bridge. Temporary signs and traffic control measures will be in place to alert and guide the traveling public through the work zone. DDOT encourages all motorists to stay alert as they travel in the area.

For additional information about this work, please contact DDOT Project Manager Adil Rizvi at 202-671-5111.
