DDOT to Begin Nightly Right-Lane Closures of Westbound New York Avenue, NE, From Baltimore-Washington Parkway to the Ramp to Fort Lincoln Drive, NE

(Washington, DC)  As part of the Anacostia Riverwalk Trail Kenilworth Aquatic Gardens Segment construction, the District Department of Transportation (DDOT) will begin closing nightly the right lane of westbound New York Avenue, NE, from the Baltimore-Washington Parkway to the ramp to Fort Lincoln Drive, NE, to conduct electrical work.

The lane closure will occur from Sunday to Thursday nights from 9 pm to 5:30 am the following morning, starting Sunday, January 11, 2015, and continuing until Friday, February 20, 2015, unless restricted by holidays or weather conditions.

During the closure, temporary signs and traffic control measures will be in place to alert and guide the traveling public around the work zone. DDOT encourages all motorists to stay alert as they travel through the area.
