Mayor Fenty Announces Another Round of Cabinet Nominations

Today, Mayor Adrian M. Fenty announced his selections for the directors of the offices of Contracting and Procurement (OCP), Labor Relations and Collective Bargaining (OLRCB), Latino Affairs (OLA) and chair of the District of Columbia Taxicab Commission (DCTC).

Mayor Fenty has nominated Natasha Campbell to serve as the director of OLRCB. Since January, Campbell has served as the interim director of the office. She began her professional career with the District government as an attorney in the Office of Labor Relations and Collective Bargaining, representing the District in a variety of labor relations issues.  Prior to being appointed interim director by Fenty, Campbell served as a supervisory attorney advisor in the Office.  In that role she supervised the Negotiation and Contract Administration division, serving as chief negotiator for the District and providing day-to-day guidance to line attorneys on all areas of working conditions and compensation negotiations, and impact and effects bargaining.  Most recently, she served as the chief negotiator for the master compensation agreement between the District and various labor organizations representing approximately 10,000 District employees.  Campbell also serves on several citywide labor management committees and taskforces and has proven expertise in drafting proposals and negotiating complex collective bargaining provisions, routinely advising agency leadership on various labor relations matters affecting their respective departments. Campbell received a bachelor’s and a master’s degree from Florida A&M University and a law degree from the Howard University School of law.  She is a member of the Florida bar and District of Columbia bar.
