Mayor Fenty Names Members of Task Force on Emergency Medical Services

As part of the District's settlement reached on March 8, 2007, with the family of slain New York Times journalist David E. Rosenbaum, Mayor Adrian M. Fenty today announced the members of the Task Force on Emergency Medical Services. The task force will complete an investigation of DC Fire and EMS and issue a report with recommendations for improving the delivery of emergency medical services by the DC Fire and Emergency Medical Services Department within six months of the settlement agreement. The first meeting of the task force will take place on April 17, 2007. The task force will also hear from other experts in the emergency services field as well as members of the public.
