Reward/Recognition

Be sure to reward the right behavior:

  • Send "thank you" emails or letters to employees that have performed well. Be sure to include the employee's supervisor on the email.
  • Send "thank you" fliers to employees that have done well. The director and co–workers should sign it to acknowledge that all noticed the behavior.
  • Acknowledge employees in staff meetings or on community bulletin boards.
  • Present small trinkets or tokens of appreciation.
  • Conduct internal, customer service, appreciation events.
