Help prepare your child for the PSATs
DCPS HS students are set to take the PSAT's on Wednesday, 10/12

DCPS parents & families,
On Wednesday, October 12, all students in grades 9, 10, and 11 will take the PSAT which is provided free of charge to our students.
The PSAT is a college preparatory test of reading, math and writing skills. Taking the test can benefit your child in the following ways:
First, using the PSAT results, students receive valuable feedback on their progress toward college. And they are better prepared to do well on the SAT, which is a required exam for entrance to many colleges and universities.
And second, 11th graders who take the PSAT will be entered automatically into the competition for the National Merit Scholarship, which provides scholarship money for college.
Please make sure that your child gets plenty of rest, attends school and arrives on time so that they can take advantage of this important opportunity.
If you have any questions, please contact your child’s school directly. Thank you for helping DCPS prepare all our students for success in college, careers and life.
